Thank you for your interest in services and products provided by Rugged Campers. Products provided by Rugged Campers are backed by a 12 month manufacturer’s Warranty from the date of purchase. As a consumer of these products, you are entitled to have goods repaired, replaced, or compensated for damages that are due to a manufacturing fault at our discretion. 


What does this limited warranty cover?

The limited warranty provided by Rugged Campers covers any defects or problems in the product that may be due to a manufacturing fault including, but not limited to materials and workmanship. 


What will we do to correct problems?

Based on the issue or problem with products provided by Rugged Campers, we will work towards refurbishing specific parts, repairing the product at no charge, or returning the product at our discretion.


How long does the coverage last?

The warranty for goods purchased from Rugged Campers is covered by a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase.

After the 12 month period, consumer rights will be of concern to ensure you are happy with the service of your product. 


What does the limited warranty NOT cover?

We do not guarantee that our products will not be error-free.

Refer to Section 21 (Maintenance) in our Terms and Conditions for more details regarding product maintenance.

This limited warranty does not cover any of the following problems:

  • General wear and tear

  • Weather damage (including, but not limited to, rain, hail, UV damage, wind, rust*, condensation, mould) 

  • Improper use of the product and/or customer misuse 

  • Damage during installation (including, but not limited to, injury, accidental or deliberate damage to the product) NOTE: Product should be installed by a professional to ensure correct installation.

  • ‘Pick Ups’ where a product is damaged in transit.

  • Modifications or alterations made to the product by the customer

*To reduce rust buildup on metal components, proper care is required. Regularly cleaning all exterior components of the tent (Including but not limited to: stainless steel cup head bolts, mounting hardware, logo plate, lock latches, hinges, gas struts) with warm water infused with dishwashing liquid gently scrubbed with a soft brush. (Note: Users who live or drive near the ocean and experience sea spray are more exposed to rusting components).


What do you as the consumer have to do if something goes wrong?

If there is a concern or fault in your product take photos and email them through to contact@ruggedcampers.au provided with statement of issue and proof of purchase so that our team can guide you through the necessary steps and provide instructions for repairing, returning or compensating the faulty product, if required.


Rugged Campers reserves the right to amend or modify this warranty statement without prior notice. Rugged Campers reserves the right to charge a warehouse handling fee on product returns when the issue is not considered a major failure.
